1990 Honda Integra DC2 Type R Race Car

History

The vehicle is one of 20 Honda Ractory Race Prepared cars bought to Australia for the Gold Coast Indy in Y 2000.

The event was called the Young Guns. Marcos Ambrose won the event in our car before becoming a Back-to-Back Supercar Champion and heading off to USA.

It went AWOL for 5 years before re-emerging as an "Improved Production Car" (IPC) successor category to Group A.

More recently it set IPC U2L Lap Record at Bathurst, and has won "Back-to-Back" IPC State Championships in NSW in 2019 and 2019.

The car now races in WA where it scored a Class Win 1st time out in IPC U2L at Barbagallo Raceway. COVID 19 then stopped play.

The electronics a a feature sitting on the floor of the front passenger area.

AP Racing brakes stop it. Bilstein suspension makes it a very stable platform.
